Advice for all household customers
- Use the electrical equipments carefully. Most of the household appliances have certain safety attachments that help preventing shocks. Many devices have connectors with a grounding system. The connector may be plugged in an outlet in one way. Thus, there is ensured an appropriate electricity flow and the risks of shocks decreases.
- Do not insert metal objects in the toaster.
- Do not insert metal objects in the outlet.
- Do not plug several appliances in the same outlet or extension.
- Do not touch the outlets with wet hands.
- Check the status of the electrical cables (they should not be snapped, obsolete or inappropriately placed). Pets can snap the electrical cables.
- When you go up on a ladder or perform activities in the open air, be careful with the overhead electrical lines. Before climbing a tree, check whether there are branches near electrical lines.
- Keep the electrical appliances away from water. Most of the electricity related accidents of electrical occur due to the use of the electrical current near water.
- Do not fly kites near to the electrical overhead line. The kite and the string the might lead the electricity directly into the ground.
