Information about the core business of E.ON Moldova Distribution
Our company ensures the electricity distribution service in the six counties of the Moldova region: Bacău, Botoşani, Iaşi, Neamţ, Suceava and Vaslui.
E.ON Moldova Distribuţie is the link between the very high voltage networks, managed by the transmission company, Transelectrica in Romania and the consumption points of the customers fed by the suppliers in the area.
Our role is to operate, maintain, modernise and develop these networks. Yet, the target is to ensure a distribution service level at least equal to the one in the Central Eastern Europe.
We are responsible for high voltage (1kV-110kV) and also low voltage installations (below 1kV).
This distribution chain is made up of the following:
- substations
- posts of transformer
- poles
- overhead networks
- underground networks
We are not responsible for the networks exclusively supplying electricity for public lighting.
