Steps to be followed in order to become eligible customers
The eligible customer is the natural or legal person purchasing electricity for own consumption and, possibly for a customer connected to his installations, having the right to choose the supplier and directly contract the necessary electricity with him, having access to the transmission and/ or distribution networks.
Steps:
- Up-to-date payment of the electricity consumption to the current supplier;
- Requesting the issuance of a new technical connection permit to the distribution operator in case the exiting metering groups are not endowed with hourly metering;
- Application for the conclusion of contract for eligible customers submitted to the electricity supplier;
- Attaching the hourly consumption forecast or the operation regime on hourly intervals to the application for the conclusion of the supply contract;
- Negotiating the tariff/ contract price and the contractual terms with the electricity supplier.
The requirements that a customer (economic operator) has to meet in order to become eligible
- To hold meters with hourly load curve on all feeding lines;
- To pay the invoices issued for the electricity up-to-date;
- To request the conclusion of the contract for eligible customers at least 30 days before the beginning of the electricity delivery period as an eligible customers;
The beginning of the delivery period as an eligible customer is the first day of a calendar month.
