E.ON România and Gică Popescu launch the project E.ON
Fun Factory – Family football and fun
E.ON România celebrates Children’s Day in Bucharest through football and family fun. Together with the former Romanian international football star Gheorghe Popescu, E.ON launches at the end of this month, in premier for Romania, the project „E.ON Fun Factory”, which proposes to go beyond performance, to rediscover the authentic football fun together with the loved ones.
We wish to promote a new perspective on football, convinced that the passion for the king-sport can bring us closer together, regardless of age or talent. Family football means relaxation, fun and most of all unforgettable moments.
”Football is maybe too often perceived just from the perspective of sports performance and success. Most of us remember the joy of a football mach in the schoolyard. I believe that we must rediscover the joy of the game itself. I involved together with E.ON România in the „E.ON Fun Factory” project exactly because it promotes a new perspective on football”, stated Gheorghe Popescu.
The „E.ON Fun Factory” project will be rolled out between July and August 2010, in Cluj Napoca and Iaşi, in collaboration with local authorities, to offer during the summer vacation an innovative alternative for spending spare time with the family through football. The project will also contain a link-component between family energy and the energy field and energy efficiency. The first event of the project will take place on Saturday, May 29, this year, in the Children’s Park, Bucharest, where, beginning with 4 PM, families are expected to spend a relaxing and fun afternoon with games, contests, awards, autographs, special photos and family football together with Gică Popescu,.
By supporting sports, E.ON invests in the development of the local communities, wishing to add value to the common experiences and projects meant to bring energy, togetherness and enthusiasm among the members of the same community.
