Customer classification
The types of customers for whom E.ON Energie România ensures the electricity supply service. What kind of customer are you?
Captive customer
The electricity customer who, for technical, economic or regulation related reasons is unable to choose his supplier, as well as the eligible customer who does not make use of his right to choose a supplier.
Eligible customer
The customer that is able to choose his supplier and to directly contract with him the required electricity volume, having access to the transmission and/or distribution networks. The eligible electricity customers can conclude electricity supply contracts on the competitive market with one or several suppliers based on the frame contract elaborated by the competent authority.
Household customer
The customer purchasing electricity for his own use, excluding the consumption corresponding to trading or professional activities.
Business customer
Any authorised natural or legal person purchasing electricity for industrial, trading or agricultural business purposes.
