E.ON Moldova Distributie modernises the 110 kV transformer station in Botosani, September 5th, 2008
On Friday, September 5th, 2008, there took place the commissioning of the modernisation works for the 110 kV transformer station in Botosani.
For our customers, finalising these works means increasing the safety of the supply and the reduction of outages number. For our employees operating these installations, the new equipments offer a highly operational safety degree.
The new equipments are state-of-the-art, like the transformer stations used worldwide, with a high fidelity degree (they actually do not require planned revision works). The classical relays were replaces with numeric terminals, with the possibility of integrated them in a remote management system at the E.ON Moldova Distributie level.
The Botosani substation is a significant energy node for the electricity feeding of the area and moreover, this substation helps evacuating the electricity generated by CET Botosani in the system.
“The investment, amounting to 1.650.000 RON is plan of the distribution network modernisation plan carried out by E.ON Moldova Distributie, whose finalisation should increase the quality of the provided services and the satisfaction of our customers”, stated Catalin Dragoi, General Director of E.ON Moldova Distributie.
