The volunteering week
Involvement of the E.ON employees, April 19th, 2008
Friday, the 18th of April, the E.ON Moldova Distributie and E.ON Moldova Furnizare employees took part in the events organised by the Betany Foundation for Social Assistance and the City Hall of Iasi City during the National Week for Volunteering (April 13th – 20th).
The E.ON employees took part in a debated related to the maintenance of ecologic balance in the Leisure Area of Ciric, followed by environment cleaning activities and tree planting in the complex.
We are aware of the responsibility we bear for our employees, customers and suppliers, as well as towards the environment and the communities we live and work in. We are trying to improve the quality of life there where we operate. Our goal is to ensure a long-term healthy environment. We also consider the needs of today’s generation, but at the same time we admit the responsibility we have for future generations.
We support those initiatives that better meet the needs of the community and we directly get involved in problem solving. The involvement of our employees is very important and we encourage them to participate. The volunteering actions offer the employees the possibility of gaining experience and of bringing benefits to the community they are part of.
The volunteering of the E.ON employees consolidates our position as a united team and a trustworthy partner in our community.
