E.ON România employees – teachers within the educational program „Lessons about Energy”
Over 450 children from 15 schools in E.ON România’s area of activity discover useful information about natural gas and electric energy during the three months Program „Lessons about Energy”
Until June this year, E.ON România rolls-out the educational program „Lessons about Energy” in 15 kinder gardens and schools in its area of activity. The program seeks, through interactive lessons, to educate the children regarding the correct and safe usage of energy sources.
Thus, 115 E.ON volunteers become teachers for the over 450 children learning in the schools aimed by the program, and teach them new and useful things about electricity and natural gas, how its produced, what measures must be taken and what rules must be observed to use them safely at home and at school, and, least but not last, what must be done to protect the environment.
The transmitted information is structured in 8 lessons and adapted to the age of the children to whom we address, and the materials are elaborated in partnership with experienced teachers.
The project rolls-out in each region of E.ON’s area of activity in România, in selected schools and kinder gardens from 10 cities: Alba Iulia, Sibiu, Târgu Mureş, Baia Mare, Cluj-Napoca, Timişoara, Reşiţa, Iaşi, Suceava and Botoşani.
