E.ON Fun Factory Project – opportunity for fun for hundreds of Cluj inhabitants, together with former Romanian international football star Gică Popescu
Saturday, June 19, hundreds of Cluj inhabitants had fun together with their families and the former captain of Romania’s national football team, Gica Popescu, present in Cluj-Napoca to launch, together with the representatives of E.ON, the project E.ON Fun Factory. Passes through obstacles, free kicks, friendly football matches, are just a few of the tests following which „The best family”, „The best mother” and „Obstacles Masters” were designated.
The E.ON Fun Factory project is an initiative of E.ON Romania and is realized in partnership with Cluj-Napoca City Hall and the student organization AIESEC Cluj-Napoca.
„I find it admirable that, despite the economic crisis that deepens by the day, E.ON made all the efforts to launch today, in Cluj-Napoca, the E.ON Fun Factory project. We have to appreciate the fact that E.ON found the necessary resources to promote this extraordinary project. It is a model of active involvement in the life of the Cluj community the fact that E.ON found solutions to bring in your city a project which is a premier for România”, stated Gica Popescu.
The E.ON Fun Factory project promotes a new perspective on football, replacing the performance with the authentic pleasure of football with the family. Family football means relaxation, fun, and most of all, the pleasure of spending unforgettable moments.
„The E.ON Group wants to be as close as possible to the communities in which it rolls out its activity and proposes a new project. The introduction of the „Family football” concept in Romania reflects E.ON’s own vision on football, which comes from the belief that the passion for the king-sport can bring us closer to each other, regardless of age or talent”, stated Mr. Dan Morari, General Director of E.ON Gaz Romania.
The E.ON Fun Factory project will be rolled out in Cluj-Napoca every Saturday, between June 19 and August 28, 2010, in collaboration with the local community, to offer an innovative alternative for spending free time during the vacation, together with the family, through football.
