The Electrician’s Trophy 2008, tradition continues

The Electricians’ Trophy continues the tradition: today, the 17th of July, the 31st edition ended. This competition is a professional event meant to promote the competitive spirit and the willingness to improve among the workers in the energy sector.

The effort of this traditional professional category in Romania is more to be appreciated under the conditions in which new more "attractive" professions occur for the young who define a career.

The employees of E.ON Moldova Distributie have always been closely competing against the representative teams of all distribution operators national wide (Electrica, CEZ, ENEL) in five professional sections: electricians operating transformer stations; protection-automation electricians; electricians operating medium and low voltage distribution networks, electrician installing metering groups, electrician detecting faults in the medium and low voltage underground cables.

The first place in the team section was awarded to E.ON Moldova Distributie, for 3 categories: electricians operating transformer stations; protection-automation electricians; electricians operating medium and low voltage distribution networks and the third place for the metering group installation category.

"We appreciate the results of our colleagues and we have strong reasons to self-confidently look towards future editions of this competition. We shall continue investing in the training of our electricians wishing to improve the quality of the provided services", states Catalin Dragoi, the General Director of E.ON Moldova Distributie.
