The report of the commission related to the incidents that led to the failure of the nocturne installation
The commission noticed that during the event, the installations of E.ON Moldova Distributie operated correctly. From the values indicated by the shields, one could conclude that the fault occurred in the low voltage installations managed by the user.
The members of the commission included: specialists of E.ON Moldova Distributie, of the Iasi City Hall, of the Iasi Police Station, of Luxten, of the construction companies as well as the external expert selected by the City Hall.
The commission noticed that during the event, the installations of E.ON Moldova Distributie operated correctly. From the values indicated by the shields, one could conclude that the fault occurred in the low voltage installations managed by the user. Moreover, the commission noticed that on the low voltage side, there was installed a complicated system of protection relays, which under certain circumstances may not operate according to the initial design.
In the minutes concluded as a result of the analysis carried out by the commission of experts, there is shown that from the time the nocturne was interrupted until an E.ON Moldova Distributie team arrived, a person from Luxten unsuccessfully tried to restore the electricity supply by turning on the low voltage equipment.
Conclusions of the commission were that the incident was caused by a potential temporary fault in the low voltage network (managed by the user) and a potential human error during the execution of manoeuvres in the low voltage installation.
Related to the letter sent by the City Hall asking for technical assistance during the match, we would like to mention that this letter was sent by post and arrived at our premises on Monday, August 25th. Moreover, a copy of the letter was sent via fax to the Operational Centre Iasi, but, the device being broke, the letter was not received.
The statements made by the officials of the Iasi City Hall before the finalisation of the technical expertise are regrettable and created confusion among the citizens concerning the one bearing the responsibility for this incident. Through these unfounded accusations, the image of our company was affected and this aspect is not in the interest of the citizens that are our customers, too.

- at 19.25, the nocturne system was turned on;
- at 19.55, the nocturne system stopped;
- at 20.14, an E.ON employee in the tribunes inform his colleagues at work about the fact that the nocturne was not working anymore;
- at 20.24 an E.ON Moldova Distributie team gets to the stadium;
- at 20.32 electricity supply was restored.
